Treat yourself with a spa at home

Take some time out to relax, unwind and re-invigorate your skin.

This home spa is the perfect way to cleanse yourself of the stresses of the working week, and reward yourself for all of your hard work.

In as little as 20mins you can rejuvenate.

Giving you skin a boost or just pampering yourself and relaxing is as easy as this.

Make up an enriching clay mask. This can be done by mixing the clay of your choice with either water, mashed fresh fruit or vegetables, oil (olive oil is great for dry skin) or bioactive natural yoghurt. Don't put the mask on yet.

Start running a bath and add either bath salts or bath milk to the running water.

Cleanse your face and then give it a light scrub before patting your skin dry.

Apply the enriching clay mask before immersing yourself in your ready bath. Take care to leave the areas around your eyes, nostrils and lips clear of the mask, and leave on until dry or for 10 mins (whichever is comfortable for you). You can apply a water mist (or face and body spray of your choice) to keep the mask moist if you have dry or sensitive skin.

This is a good excuse to put the feet up and relax without being disturbed. Some candles and light music can deepen the relaxation.

Rinse the mask off when you are ready, and continue to relax in the bath.

Once out of the bath and dry, apply a moisturiser to your face and a body butter to the rest of your body. Dress in a robe or light clothing and continue to relax until you are ready to face the world again.
